Canadians on F-list, read this and be outraged with me y/y

I'll quote the petition for it here, just in case you don't want to bother to click the link:

Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are about to impose usage-based billing on YOU.

This means we're looking at a future where ISPs will charge per byte, the way they do with smart phones. If we allow this to happen Canadians will have no choice but to pay MUCH more for less Internet. Big Telecom companies are obviously trying to gouge consumers, control the Internet market, and ensure that consumers continue to subscribe to their television services.

These Big Telecom companies are forcing small competing ISPs to adopt the same pricing scheme, so that we have no choice but to pay these punitive fees.

This will crush innovative services, Canada's digital competitiveness, and your wallet.

You can sign the petition against it here. Spread this around and do something about this, jfc.

wow i cant vouch for it, but im pretty sure thats how it was where my friend lived in NZ. She only got like 2GB a month and if she went over it she has to pay and pay and pay.

I am pretty biased towards DBSK but I generally like most groups, though the only ones whose news I'll really follow these days are SNSD, Super Junior, Beast, SS501, and possibly SHINee, along with a couple of others.

Sucks that DBSK broke up, eh. :( haha I'm currently OBSESSED with SS501 (who could resist them when the leader of the group looks so damn fine, and oh so talented.), and big bang. (: Taeyang is forever going to be my love. love love love him to pieces. I really like Super Junior's new album, "All My Heart" is definitely my favorite song from it. I don't really listen to to the other groups you've named, :P but some of my friends do. I think I have a huge bias towards male singers/groups, haha but ahhh, I really like 2NE1 and wonder girls, too. (:

Haha yes, your love for SS501 and Big Bang are both perfectly understandable. Now if only SS501 would actually release a full album for once, when they have their comeback. It's been ages since they've done proper promotions.

The Wonder Girls and 2NE1 are both great too. I especially love 2NE1's stage presence in their performances :)

It's affecting pretty much all ISPs in Canada. From what I heard, the only provinces that will still have ISPs offering unlimited internet are Saskatchewan (Sasktel) and Nova Scotia (Eastlink). Most other major ISPs are getting onto this (e.g. Bell, Rogers, Shaw), and it will in turn affect independent ISPs (e.g. Teksavvy) since most of them purchase their internet connection through bigger companies like Bell, Rogers, Shaw, etc.
